Celina brings positivity and extensive general practice experience to our specialty team. She is enthusiastic about helping pets live their best lives free of discomfort! She is excited to be a part of our team in providing vision and comfort to our furry friends!
Celina: I’ve been in working general practice for the past 8 years and while I’ve learned so much, I felt there was room to grow. Going into specialty was the next move for me and that brought me to AEC. Since being here I have gained so much knowledge on eyes, and it’s brought back my excitement for veterinary medicine.
Celina: Animals have always been a passion I’ve had since I was young, and I knew I needed to do something in the animal field for a career. I have a deep empathy and love for every pet because I want the best for them. Animals can’t advocate for themselves so it’s very important to be their voice and help them anyway I can.
Celina: I’m passionate about client education and being an advocate for animals’ well being. It’s important to me that owners get the best possible experience with me, and they can leave fully educated on anything they ask or may not know. Something I was told a long time ago from one of the first veterinarian I worked with “They should leave looking/feeling better than they came in” and I strive to achieve that with every single patient I see.
Celina: I graduated from Harrison College in 2018 where I obtained a degree in applied sciences for veterinary technology, continued by passing the state board exam, earning my title of registered veterinary nurse.
Celina: I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, going to concerts, and being outdoors.
Celina: Three things on my bucket list are: see Coldplay front row, cage dive with great whites and go to a premier league soccer game.
