Q. Why did you join Animal Eye Clinic?
Adoree: I joined AEC because I was looking for something different in my career path that still aligned with my values of caring for animals/people. When I learned about AEC and all the great things Dr. Davis and her team does for pets and their vision, I knew this was something exciting and different I was looking for at this time in my career path.
Q. Describe why pets are important to you/how have pets changed or influenced you?
Adoree: Growing up I have always had a passion for all sorts of animals. I have always loved going to farms with my dad, horseback riding in the mountains or volunteering at animal shelters throughout my college career. In my personal life, I have grown up with multiple Scottish terriers and 2 years ago I rescued my own fur baby. He is a little long hair Chihuahua named Baron. He came into my life when I was at the height of my anxiety amongst other things and together we have healed one another.
Q. What are you passionate about?
Adoree: I have a huge passion for helping others. I have always wanted to lend a helping hand to anyone that I see needs a little extra love or help. I have two older brothers that are special needs and that has always made me strive to do more for those with difficulties.
Q. What is your education/where did you go to school?
Adoree: I graduated in 2020 from Florida Gulf Coast University with my Bachelors in Resort and Hospitality Management. I have multiple certifications/licenses that go along with my degree, including my master certification in Wedding Planning.
Q. What do you enjoy doing?
Adoree: I live a very active lifestyle outside of work. I love to workout, I constantly train for half marathons and 5k’s. I also love to be active in the community and volunteer when I can. If I’m not being active, I’m at home watching Disney movies with my fiancé and Baron.
Q. What are three things on your bucket list?
Adoree: Visit all of the Disney Parks in the World, go to Sweden to see where my grandparents grew up and to learn more about my heritage, and swim with sharks.
